I’m pretty sure everyone needs time to recuperate from life. With chronic illness, it’s so essential to me. I can tell now when I need to stop and listen to my body. Right now is one of those times. I wish I could push through the pain or fatigue but it’s not possible. Right now it is time for rest.
I woke up with my right hip screaming at me, and pain radiating through my whole pelvic area. My tendons are angry, and are letting me hear it. My Achilles’ tendons are also burning at the moment. This is all caused by enthesitis, inflammation of tendons and ligaments where they insert into the bone. Enthesitis is one of the symptoms are spondyloarthropie (ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis and arthritis related to IBD).
So I’m laying here right now, just having a bit of down time. and letting my musculoskeletal system chill out. I’ll get back at it in a bit, when the anger has subsided.
