Spokane continued

The parade was pretty awesome. It started at 7:45 and went on for three hours. We went and ate at the Steam Plant Brew House (which was delicious), came back to the hotel and could hear the parade going on still! The floats were so ornate, and all the marching bands were so great. It’s not something I’ve really ever seen at home. At least not as good as the high schools here.
Spokane has some really lovely architecture, the down town core is really cohesive in its appearance. I had no idea it was so big either, we will have to make our way down here once in awhile now that we know what it has to offer. Well both Dave and I are exhausted now! Time for bed.
